  I've attended here for 8 months now and this is my impression:
  
  The Spirit is here. They claim to be a place of refuge and they truly are. If you come for God, you will meet Him. I needed a place to heal and was actually a little surprised to find that in a Methodist church (I was a little ashamed to find out that I was denominationally racist! I guess Peter and I have one more thing in common... ) This truly is another part of God's big family. Yes, the church is big but the pastors really care- and I believe that is why they continue to be trusted with more and more of God's kids- both 'saved' and 'unsaved', 'whole' and 'broken'. Huge props to their counseling center as well.
  
  As always in a large church, you have to be intentional about getting involved or you can easily just become 'one of the masses'; but they always are looking for people to get involved and offering opportunities. I haven't joined a small group yet but I'm sure that is where more intimate relationships are cultivated. In the mean time, I have had multiple people reach out to me and make me feel welcome. Am I here just to heal up or do I get to stay and play? Lord only knows ;-)
  
  This church is not for everyone- no church is. But you are welcome to come try it out and I, for one, am happy to call it home.

  I have attended CCB for about 7 weeks and it is exactly what I have been searching for. CCB is a church filled with God's Holy Spirit. Pastor teaches the bible and makes you thirst for more. CCB is accepting of all people. I am bringing a friend this coming Sunday. Love, love, love.
